Career Fairs
If you've graduated from college, then as an Alumni, you should have access to any career fairs held at your alma mater.

Even if you just recently graduated and have a job, it always pays to take a day off work and use the opportunity to network and meet any and all employers at these fairs.

Use these fairs to challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone, and rehearse your story and objectives and why someone would want to hire you!

Outside of University based career fairs, there are usually other networking type of events held at local big name hotels hosting any number of employers. The majority of the jobs they're advertising there may be for door to door sales and what not, but sometimes you can approach an employer inquiring about a different job on their job board and ask about that instead. Go on your phone and look up the jobs the employer has on their website and bring up whatever specific job you are qualified for and lead with that. Have that gameplan that you're looking to be hired and that you know what job you want, and you never know what may happen!

Another tactic you can employ to challenge yourself is to speak to random attendees at these networking events. You can start off with asking, "Any luck with speaking to these employers?" This can not only help you get valuable insight on what the employers at these booths are offering, but you can potentially get insight on the career prospects of the people around you. Many people, believe it or not, like to talk about themselves to others, so it's way more natural than you think to engage with and have conversations with fellow job seekers. I highly recommend challenging yourself and getting out of your comfort zone, it will contribute to helping you speak to the employers with your natural charisma.
