Avoid buying popcorn, soda, and candy at the Theaters. It's well known what a ripoff it is purchasing food at the theaters.

The time tested method of buying candy at the Dollar Store and sneaking it into the theaters is a practice used for decades, and it's only getting more frequent now.

Some theaters may check your bags when you go in, but most of the theaters have employees who simply don't want to go through the effort and awkwardness to check your belongings.

I don't recommend you sneak in food into the theaters, but you can do as you please.

Whatever you do, just don't overspend on anything, including movie tickets!

With the prices of movies today coupled with the sheer lack of originality and innovation in Hollywood today, never feel embarrassed for asking for your hard earned money back!
