If you want a cell phone service from an actual brick & mortar cell phone store, then I'd recommend T-Mobile Connect. It's a Pre-paid cell phone plan you can get from any T-Mobile store. You have the option to use a physical sim card or go with E-sim.

Go with the $15 dollar a month plan with 5 gigs of data and unlimited talk and texting. The 5 gigs will go far if you use data saver on your phone and only watch YouTube videos in 244p.

Cell Phones
Apple iPhones are absolute ripoffs starting at $630 plus tax for an unlocked phone (For the iPhone 14).
The security features, microphone and antenna quality, and Apple iOS are top notch, but not worth the expense compared to what you can get with Android.

I'm going to ignore the iPhone SE 3 model for the time being until the SE4's details are confirmed. If the iPhone SE4 is announced to be $500 and the screen size is 6.1 inches, then I will absolutely recommend that phone as the best bang for your buck for this website.

You get great specs, security updates for at least 2 more years, and a decent camera for less than half of what you'd pay for a base iPhone 14 before tax.

I do not recommend getting used or open box phones.

As far as cases are concerned, I've always been a fan of Spigen cases. No matter what iPhone or Android phone you have, always look for a Spigen case for your phone.

Otterbox is the next best case but they're usually double the price for not much more protection, and their quality control has gone downhill.
